Culinary Experiences
Take a trip around the world as we showcase the different ethnic influences found in our cuisine. Most of these classes are offered from our private home in our outdoor oasis.
Traditional Cuban Cooking Class

Cuban food is some of the most flavorful food you’ll try and being in Miami it is an absolute must try! Cuban cooking ingredients are simple, yet savory, and the style of cooking has been influenced by many peoples that passed through the island, including the Spaniards, the Africans, the French and the native peoples.
In our beautiful outdoor oasis, meet your chef and take part in a hands-on cooking lesson to include making an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. Other sample appetizers and libations will be available for your enjoyment, too! You’ll also have the opportunity to take home a copy of the recipes to so you can make a Cuban feast for your friends back at home!

Latin Libations & Tapas Tasting
Outdoor Cooking Series
Take a trip around Latin America from the comfort of our backyard oasis as you learn to prepare delicious cocktails and recipes. The menu is seasonal to enjoy the very best flavors and freshest ingredients, but you will certainly sample such refreshing drinks as a mojito and pisco sour, and savor yummy bites such as Argentinian empanadas or stuffed plantains. Let our chef prepare these for you or get your hands dirty and help prepare these delicious bites together.
Menu will include 5 appetizers and 5 different drinks (alcoholic or non). You’ll also have the opportunity to take home a copy of the recipes to enjoy these delicious treats again with friends back at home!

Cuban Desserts Class
Outdoor Cooking Series
Cuban desserts are delectable creations that melt in your mouth. With its influences from the Old World (mostly Spain and France) and its fusion between tropical ingredients from the Caribbean, the flavors are intense and dangerously sweet! During this comprehensive class we will learn to make 3 different recipes which will vary with the season Some of our favorites include guava-filled pastries that are perfect for breakfast or to have with coffee, tres leches cake with its rich and creamy texture; and arroz con leche or rice pudding that is made with cinnamon and condensed milk. We will also share recipes for other favorites such as timba (cream cheese with guava paste) and Crema de Vie, a delicious after-dinner liqueur that is a dessert all in it is own! Enjoy some classic Cuban music as you get to create some of these delicious treats to enjoy on site or take home.

Miami’s cultural scene is vast encompassing up-beat music, amazing art, historical and natural beauties. Join us on one of our cultural tours to get a better feeling for the city.
Cuban Mixology and Salsa Dancing Class
Learn to dance and drink like the locals during this interactive and fun salsa lesson. We will start off with a Cuban mixology class where you’ll create your favorite Cuban cocktail. Then our salsa instructor will show you some easy steps accompanied by popular salsa music. The most effective way to learn is through these private lessons, where we can focus exactly on what you want to work on and adapt the level of the lesson to you. This form of learning also gives you a great opportunity to perfect your leading or following skills since you dance with an instructor who can correct every detail of your steps. Practice with your dance partner before you hit the town!

Learn Spanish While You Cook
Series
During this 4-session series, learn to make some of our favorite Latin recipes while spending time learning useful Spanish words, phrases and conversational tips that will help you connect with locals no matter where you travel in the Spanish-speaking world (Miami included). Select your dates and 4 distinct menus from our list to share with friends as you embark on this journey. Additional classes and shorter programs can also be arranged on request. Our Spanish teacher knows her stuff and will make these lessons fun and interactive to enhance the learning. These classes will be tailored to your specific group so give us a call to get started. Each 3-hour session will include a cooking class, Spanish lessons, your meal and drinks (alcoholic and non).

Flavors of Italy
Cooking & Cocktails
Italian food is made from simple ingredients that come together to create amazing flavors! During this experience you’ll be able to sample some of the delicious specialties that make Italy such a remarkable culinary capital while getting your hands dirty to create your very own Italian meal!
Your experience will start by learning to make three important recipes from scratch: home-made pasta, Bolognese sauce and a bechamel sauce. Then get ready to create your very own lasagna, with our help!
While your lasagna is baking in the oven, learn how to make one of Italy’s most famous cocktails: an Aperol Spritz. Sample this refreshing aperitivo and then have an opportunity to create your own!
Italian Appetizers, Homemade Tiramisu, and Italian Prosecco will also be served.

A Day on the Water
Biscayne Bay
Choose between ocean fishing, spear fishing, snorkeling or swimming in the beautiful Biscayne Bay with its turquoise-colored waters and variety of sea life. There are a number of great spots that you can choose from with our local expert and avid boater, including spending some time at one of the great sandbars where you can relax and enjoy the warm waters of Miami. Your journey departs from Homestead just south of Miami, where you will be just moments from the Florida Keys. You will have the option of a half-day or full-day trip and we will work with you to select best times and options for you and your party. Max of 9 guests and pricing will be based on activities and length of trip.
Prices Starting at $130/hour with a 4- hour minimum
